Brief Overview of the Company

Charis Remedies Private Limited is a biomedical innovative company, based in Kerala, India, with innovative orthotics products under its wings. The company aims to provide high quality healthcare products and devices, with specialization in orthotics and innovative smart wearable devices, to general public at affordable prices. It has also filed a patent in India for its innovative and proprietary product “Wearable Multifunctional Knee Brace System with Integrated Continuous Passive Mobilization”.

Vision Statement

The company’s vision is to serve as a platform for integrating various novel biomedical technologies into orthopedic orthotics and other biomedical equipment. It aims to branch out in biomedical industry and integrate various vertical and horizontal branches under one umbrella and put together a Biomedical Innovation and Research Platform, in collaboration with Clinicians, Biomedical Engineers and Experts, where ideas can be transformed to end product for the advancement of biomedical industry and improvement in patient care.

Mission Statement

The company’s mission is to incorporate the concept of ‘recycling’ in orthotics to reduce the level of resource wastage in current manufacturing and distribution practices and manufacture high quality orthotics and innovative smart wearable devices with least wastage which will reduce the production cost and help the end customer with the benefit of affordable pricing.

Charis Team and Collaboration

The company’s Promotors, Directors and Consultants include a great mix of medical professionals and experts in their respective medical area. The company runs with an objective to bridge the gap between the innovations and idea, and the end product. Therefore, the company aims to bring together various Experts, Clinicians and Bio-engineers and give them platform where these innovators can bring their ideas to life. The company aims to bring forward such collaboration with experts and develop a strong R&D division to achieve its vision.

Current Products and Devices

Company’s product portfolio comprises of two product lines - pharmaceutical/ nutraceutical products and biomedical wearable products.

Its pharmaceutical/ nutraceutical products include Chargalin™ for neuropathic pain, Charishield™ - 100% RDA immunity vitamins, Chaligen Plus™ - a combination of Type 2 collagen, Baicalensis and Acacia- Catechu, Etorwis 90 tablet, DD3 60k tablet, Restol 20, Restorl – DSR, and Dice Gel.

Its biomedical wearable products include smart wearable orthotics devices and ongoing development for smart wearable products which would enhance the current patient rehabilitation process.

Future Outlook –Targeted Products, Customers and Business Model

The company plans to expand both of its product lines. It wants to expand its current pharmaceutical/ nutraceutical and include various other health areas which include but not limited to orthopedic, dermatology and other over-the-counter products. The targeted customer for these products is general public and the company plans reach them via direct sales and mass media.

For the expansion of its biomedical wearable product line the company plans to start research and development to introduce such smart biomedical products which would enhance the patient recovery and rehabilitation process. It plans to launch a new and unique Smart Reusable-Wearable Biomedical Product where both the patient (consumer) and the Doctor/ Physician would be able to monitor the medical data of

the patient (consumer). The targeted customers for these products are mainly hospitals, clinicians and physicians. The company also aims to open Biomedical Rental Centers (a rental based business model) where these products would be made available to all customers, these products would be reusable and recyclable products which would help in accomplishing company’s mission to reduce wastage of resources.
